Foundation KulturDialog Armenien presents the Armenian pianist and composer Haky Melikyan in cooperation with “Armenian Cultural Days Stuttgart” at Lutherkirche Bad Cannstatt, Stuttgart, Germany

In cooperation with ‘Armenian Cultural Days Stuttgart”, Foundation KulturDialog Armenien presents the Armenian pianist and composer Hayk Melikyan on the occasion of a piano recital of modern and contemporary Armenian classical music at Lutherkirche Stuttgart (Bad Cannstatt), Germany on October 22nd at 7:30 p.m.

Melikyan will interpret works by the Jewish-Armenian composer Willy Weiner (*1955) and the most important composer and founder of modern Armenian classical music Komitas (1869–1935). Additionally, Melikyan will give an insight into contemporary Armenian classical music with works by Harutyun Dellalyan (1937–1990), Eduard Mirzoyan (1921–2012) and Arno Babadjanyan (1921–1983).

After his performance at the annual international “Festival at the Arcades” at the Royal Palace in Warsaw, Poland in August 2013 (dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian (1903-1978) and his appearance at “Händelhaus” in Halle (Saale) in May 2015 in the context of the “Armenian Cultural Days: In Motion” of the German county of Sachsen-Anhalt,

Foundation KulturDialog Armenien presents Hayk Melikyan for the second time in Germany and especially in Stuttgart as a first cooperation with “Armenian Cultural Days Stuttgart”.
